Week 9: World of Comics : Moebius and Jodorowsky Incal No. 1 :

I'm not sure how to feel about this comic. I thought it wasn't right how they added more terror and pain to people who were already commiting suicide by jumpimg into the acid river. They get so much out of doing bad things to the poor just for entertainment. They were burning people while they were falling to their dealth and they blew uo a supermarket as a gift to their friends. It's sad. While reading this comic, my reaction was pretty consistant, "Dang, this is messed up" and "yooo...wtf". I feel bad for the little boy Johnny. He seems like a nice kid whos just making it day by day in the slums with his mom well.. until she committed suicide because she couldn't handle being without her drugs. The older guys took his money and spent it on sex. The concept is good and creative, but I'm just a little taken back.
