WEEK6 : Underground Comics - Mickey Mouse Meets the Air Pirates Funnies

Reading this comic was okay. I wasn't as disturbed, disturbed as I was reading Mr. Natural. I liked how the mouse girl in the Dirty Duck Comic was beating up perverts instead of laying there and having sex with them. I didn't really see as much sex as I saw while reading one of the comics in class, with the dinosaur that got banished and sent to somewhere with a magic carpet. BUT Lorna Jean in the Buckey Bug comic was a little disturbing, seeing 50 vaginas on one character. I'm assuming Buckey Bug was Mickey Mouse of course and June Bug was Minnie so them describing Minnie as a prostitute reminded me of Cab Calloway's song, Minnie the Moocher when she left Mickey for the drunk bug. I know Disney wasn't always the Disney it is today but I believe this has altered my view of Disney as of now.
